We have used Rob MacFarlane on a number of occasions over the past decade or so at our home in Palm Beach. We’ve been very pleased with everything he’s done for us – he redid the floor in our foyer with new marble material, re-tiled our pool spa waterfall; re-tiled our two kitchen backsplashes when we redid our kitchen; and completely redid our master bath shower, from demolition to re-tiling to coordinating purchase and installation of new glass shower doors, etc.
Rob always figures out exactly how the wall or flooring material will lay out before starting so he can anticipate any possible odd-looking outcome (like a skinny row of tiles on one side) and figure out the best ways around the problem. He always consults us about those situations up front. He doesn’t assume what we might want and make the decision on his own, which we really appreciate.
Rob also does a great job cleaning up, which is a hard trait to find in a contractor, and he’s super easy to deal with. Also trustworthy. You can feel comfortable with him in your home if you can’t be there.
